- Today is a great joyful event for all of us. After all the technological processes at the plant, white sugar is obtained - this is a visual result of the reconstruction carried out. There are plans to modernize the plant for 3 years in a row, during which the outdated equipment will be completely replaced with modern, highly technological.

Part of this equipment has already been purchased and is in the warehouses of the enterprise. Today, the plant employs more than 500 people, among them are specialists who have worked at the enterprise since its opening. Their contribution is difficult to overestimate. It is also worth noting that due to the launch of the plant in Aksu district, the unemployment rate fell from 5.7 percent to 4.7. “Now we have two sugar plants in the region, Koksu and Aksu, which together can process over 500 thousand tons of sugar beet annually. We have plans to launch Alakol and Karabulak sugar plants. We are also thinking of building plants of small capacity. Today we are closing the region’s need for sugar, which is about 35 thousand tons of sugar per year. As for the needs of the republic, we will make every effort and will continue to work in this direction according to the instructions of the Head of State, which gives a multiplicative effect,” summed up Amandyk Batalov.

- I am very pleased that the plant where I worked for almost 50 years has been successfully launched again, produces high-quality products and provides jobs for many people. Thank you all for your support. A great deal has been done, the plant is working again, now we need to support it, and everything else is a matter of technology. A start has been made, the process has begun - this is the main thing, he said.
