Akim of Almaty region got acquainted with the process of reconstruction of Aksu sugar plant

The head of the Almaty region, Amandyk Batalov, visited the beet fields of the ‘Alikhan’ farm and the Aksu sugar plant, where dismantling works have now begun.
- A plant with a half-century history will work again. Currently under active reconstruction. In general, 8 billion tenge is provided for this project, 2 billion of which are funds from the local budget, channeled through SEC Zhetysu.
The main material and technical base of the plant has been preserved, but the vehicles that cannot be restored will be replaced during the reconstruction process. What is determined to replace, already ordered and will soon be purchased. According to the reconstruction schedule, the planned launch date coincides with the holiday of the First President, we hope that we will be in time by the deadlines. The reconstruction and the launch of the plant are the immediate plans for today.
After the equipment is supplied and the contract is signed, the capacity of the plant will be determined, there will be plans to process 100 thousand tons of beets. We expect to create more than 600 job places, and we will recruit employees from the local population, ”said Saken Muratov, the company's development director.
In turn, the regional akim Amandyk Batalov noted that the main attention should be focused on the timing of the launch of the plant.
- The second life of the city-forming enterprise is a historical moment. For quality work it is necessary to conduct a full inspection of the equipment, change and purchase all the necessary. Heat supply, an important part of the reconstruction, which are not subject to restoration, must be replaced.
This plant is almost twice as productive as Koksu. If, after launching, they begin to release pulp, then the feeding station can be opened nearby. The main thing is to make every effort so that the work of the enterprise will start within the promised time, - said Amandyk Gabbasovich.
