Aksu sugar plant took the first batch of sweet root

 

On September 25, after nearly a decade of downtime, the Aksu Sugar Plant accepted the first batch of sugar beet. 80 tons of sweet root vegetables were brought to the harvesting center of the enterprise by beet growers from the Sarkand region from the fields of SEC “Mazhix”, - the press service of the akim of Almaty region reports.

Deputy akim of the region Serikzhan Beskempirov congratulated the processors and peasants on the joyous event.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In his welcoming speech, Beskempirov noted that the first intake of raw materials is a significant event for both farmers and processors, and for the local population. After almost ten years of inactivity, Aksu Sugar Plant will soon regain its status as a city-forming enterprise, and its launch means new jobs and the production of high-quality sugar.

     

         

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It should be noted that at this stage the main part of the reconstruction of the Aksu sugar plant is completed. Not only the beet pile field was prepared, but all the workshops, the newest equipment was acquired, all technological processes will be automated. So far 100 people have been involved here, but when the plant gives its first products, the number of employees will increase to 650 specialists. The production capacity will be 300 thousand tons of raw materials per season. And the output of finished products will reach a volume of 32-35 thousand tons. Basically, the plant will be supplied with raw materials by agrarians of Sarkand, Aksu and Alakol regions.
