In Astanathe Sugar form the Stabilization Fund is sold

Sugar sales from the Stabilization Fund are conducted in Astana outlets. Thus, measures have been taken to curb prices for this product during the harvest season, reports Kazakhstan Today.

“Since June, during the period of mass preservation of products by the population, about 80 tons of sugar at a fixed price have been sold in order to stabilize prices in eight shopping centers of the city,” the Astana Investment and Business Administration reported.

According to the ministry, sugar is sold at a fixed price in the Stolichny and Shapagat stores, the Alem trading houses, the Bakhus, Merken, April and Keruen chains.

According to the management, there are 1,247 tons of food products in total at the Stabilization Fund, including 1,161 tons of sugar, 46 tons of rice, 40 tons of buckwheat. Prices for these goods remain unchanged, the official website of Astana Akimat writes.

At the same time, prices are monitored on a regular basis in the capital. In case of discrepancy of cost with the established limits, measures are taken.

It should be noted that in comparison with the previous month cabbage in Astana fell by 38%, potatoes - by 14%, onions - by 6.3%. Sugar prices fell 0.4%.
